I have both on my machine, and they don't give me problems.
Sure, the 'terminate PowerUP' requester and soft reboot required (if I want to use PowerUP progs after) are a niggle but thats all.
I wouldn't worry about it too much Nick, spend your time saving for those 3.1ROMs and OS3.5 instead:)
